Co-Production Research Project

RGU has provided funding to undertake a co-production research project to design tailored mental wellbeing support for engineering students entitled "Understanding the mental health impact of Covid-19 pandemic on Engineering Students in Scotland and Co-producing bespoke mental health and wellbeing support for Engineering Students".   


The project working group includes engineering students and staff, and mental health practitioners. The project will run from March-June 2021, comprising 3 workshops focussing on the impact of Covid-19 and restrictions on the mental health and wellbeing of engineering students, their coping strategies, and discussion and tailoring of mental health and wellbeing support.

Opinion Piece for Press and Journal

I was asked to write something for University Mental Health Day so took the opportunity to write about the project I am working on with our Student Life department, the School of Engineering and the School of Computing. I'm really hopeful that the project works well for students but we are still in very early days!
